Description

:iconthedigitalwar: THE SOL AND ASTRA NEED MORE APPS, YO.

LOOK. AN EYE ON HIS FOREHEAD.

Dood. :| Why are there not any rainbow-themed Digimon, fanmade or no. IT'S EVEN ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT IS LEGITIMIZED BY THE CONCEPT. A MONSTER MADE OUT OF DATA. :iconffplz:

God this chick looks lonely. :| I feel like I should do something more dynamic with her pose but it ain't comin'.

A brief legitimization for this rainbow thing - he's based off of a mix of the Nazca Lines in Peru and the Aurora Borealis phenomenon - the Norther Lights. And also the crackpot theory that aliens made the lines. :dummy: So he looks alien. And rainbows.

His concept lives in my AP Chem notes. I love him to death. E_E I WANT TO HOLD HIS WEIRD HANDS.

Also. No matter how much Verity may look like me IRL she is far too out there to be a 'sert. I JUST HAPPEN TO LIKE HOW MY HAIR POOFS.

Also, blue eyes for the purpose of disguising green intent. >_> And also to match Nazzers.

Name: Verity Jones

Age: 17 (Closer to 18; because I panicked that her origianl age of 20 was too old. :|)

Gender: Female

Digivice: Simple flip-phone

Digital Shard: Reliability

Height: 5'10"

Nationality: America

About:

Personality: Usually quiet and reserved, Verity likes observing rather than being very social in her actions, and can be viewed as a bit of a loner, though as the Digital Shard she carries implies she is a loyal and steadfast friend, willing to do what needs done so that those around her are happy. She is the friend that listens to your secrets and won't tell anyone, and the girl whose shoulder you cry on when the time comes. While she's not great at making friends, once she has them she's true to the bitter end. She's a closet optimist; while she doesn't spout her hopes to everyone if someone asks her opinion she'll honestly give the best case situation.

History: Born to a lower middle class family in a busy city, Verity was an only child and lived with her single father in a backwater part of town. Though loyal to the friends she did make there, if her parents had not moved away when she was eight she would have ended up badly in with the wrong crowd. Uprooted and moved to a new area, a small town in the country, Verity grew up with a mixed crowd of people with more stable families and backgrounds, and from her demeanour and appearance was deemed a weirdo from the city and left out of most social circles by exclusion. Lonely in a new place, the before-then-friendly Verity became rather introverted and kept to herself, with a handful of friends.

In the latter half of middle school after a particularly upsetting run-in with the school principal over an overembellished issue with a band of popular girls and her conduct, Verity came home dejected and decided that, like other points of stress in her life that were difficult at best to cope with, she'd pull out her gaming system and cool off until her father got home. When she booted up the system, something seemed wrong with the disc as a strange start-up screen for a game she wasn't farmiliar with came on and a character she didn't know was hopping around on the screen. When she moved to restart the system and check the disc, the character squeaked out that she should wait for it to get ready and press the START button. And so, intrigued, she did so.

Enter NeoHalomon, an In-Training Digimon that came out of the game system to follow Verity.

Having known very, very little about Digimon, Verity panicked and probably would have done something akin to self-defense at the floating thing before her were it not for NeoHalomon's quick explaination to the latter. Nerity demanded that the Digimon leave, as she didn't want something like this hanging around her to ruin her social image further, but the Digimon happily refused and stuck to Verity like glue. This actually ended up helping her social life; when Verity, used to taking smack from her peers at school, was confronted, NeoHalomon encouraged her to voice her side of things and life gradually improved for her. She was able to join the academic teams she wanted and make new friends besides, acting as a pillar to her friends in high school and earning the respect of her peers. When the Digital Shard of Reliability appeared for Verity and NeoHalomon, she channeled its power into her hardly-used Tracfone to become their Digivice.

After graduating high school, Verity heard about the various Digimon organizations in Japan, and through work and scholarships for college classes that would be able to be taken in Japan, she and NeoHalomon were able to reach these groups and joined The Astra together. In the Digital World, NeoHalomon Digivolved to Ravermon; the two of them prefer to stay there, staying in the Astra clubhouse and helping around the campus.

Likes: Spicy food, NeoHalomon/Ravermon, listening to and helping others
Dislikes: Obnoxious people, opressive people, rainy days
Talents: A decent writer, and likes making short stories in her spare time. Excelelnt balance, and able to think clearly in chaotic situations.

Digimon Partner: NeoHalomon/Ravermon, Vaccine attribute

Personality: A strong-willed and idealistic Digimon who has a strong sense of justice and a loud mouth. He (NeoHalomon identifies as male) tends to be at Verity's side at all times and voices what she's afraid to. He's not great at being tactful, but is true to his word.

:bulletwhite: NeoHalomon
In-training form:
Ice Breath: An ice-cold wind makes the opponent flinch and may cause harm to some.

:bulletwhite: Ravermon
Rookie form:
Aurora Strike: Ravermon uses psychic energy to extend his reach and strike the opponent with notable force.
Weave Block: The tendrils on Ravermon's arms and head extend and weave into a barrier that will keep him from being heavily damaged for a short time.

:bulletwhite: Nazcamon
Champion form: TBA
Borealis Web: Nazcamon cloaks itself in psychic energy and becomes invisible for a short time to his opponent.
Daunting Force: Nazcamon uses the eye on its forehead to hypnotize his opponent before delivering a psychic strike.
Iron Grip: Using long and winding fingers in combination with psychic energy, Nazcamon grapples the opponent and may do some damage while immobilizing them.

:bulletwhite: DesertSkymon
Ultimate form: TBA
Predator Strike: DesertSkymon swoops down on the opponent from above, snatching them off the ground before throwing them to the ground with psychic force.
Aurora Scream: DesertSkymon unleashes blinding light and a psychic strike that will deafen, blind and damage both he and his opponent.
Guiding Light: DesertSkymon uses psychic energy to dull the feeling of aggression in the area, for himself and all those around him. While he can recover faster from this, it may leave enemies confused for a moment.

:bulletwhite: Astralmon
Mega form: TBA
Star Cry: Delivers a psychic strike that is an end-all; after this attack Astralmon will not be able to battle, but hopefully neither will the opponent.
Celestial Path: Astralmon teleports from his current position to one he assumed before; and easy way to get behind an opponent quickly.
Aurora Avenger: Using 1-6 swords made of light (some held in his hand and some supported by psychic energy) Astralmon delivers a series of quick yet powerful blows to the opponent.
