Morning Run (Lukas/13 RP part 1)[Project 13 / Seasonfluff]
[Lukas Smith / The-masked-ottsel]
13 walked down the stairs. He had returned the night before, and eaten and had ice cream and now he was clean after a nice long shower. That was something he really liked. Showers. It was a luxury he would never again take for granted. He looked around for the yellow eyed Second in Command. It was time to do some training.
The last Lukas'd seen of 13, he had passed him on his way to his room last night; 'hellos' had been exchanged but the other leader seemed too tired to do much talking and had gone to sleep. That was fine; he'd been gone all week, and he had little idea of what had gone on, and supposed it had been a busy time for the older shifter. When 13 walked down the stairs, Lukas had been drinking some coffee down in the kitchen already, toying absentmindedly with his own dogtags while waiting to return 13's to him. He looked up, giving him a nod when they made eye contact. "Mornin'."
13 yawned, his sharp teeth showin
-+EVENT 1: PHASE 1 LOG 3+-Emianthar shook her head, trying to get to her feet and out from under this great big blue needlessly overprotective Miaron. "I'm fine, you need not worry about me," she said gruffly, getting to her feet and flexing her wings. Where was Daniel?
The Nightling in question was in the midst of heroic activities when he stopped teleporting long enough to catch his breath and spotted Anna, another Highflyer and another Nightling. Uno was struggling to catch up with them. "Anna!" He teleported to run alongside the group, keeping his eyes out for other Ezierktza. "Have you found Zee and Silas yet?"
Once again, Chrys was pulled along through the pandemonium by the Wind-King woman. He really, REALLY didn't want to leave Coarvis, but she was adamant and he was already gone with Dai before he was able to protest. And then Dai, too, was starting to panic as they ran. Everything was cleared, and she was almost gasping; he pulled on her hand, trying to get her to stop. "Calm down, miss Dai," he said,
-+EVENT 1: PHASE 1 LOG 2+-"Indeed. You are a wise Highflyer; you do your people proud," Uthriel rumbled with a smile and a concise nod.
"It is nice to meet you, miss Eluana," Daniel said, and blinked at her reaction; was she embarrassed? "Are you all right, miss?" he asked, looking concerned. Emianthar turned up her head at Alistair's theatrical bow, raising an eyebrow. "My name is Emianthar, and the pleasure is all yours." She was having none of his shenanigans. "Your friend seems to be a bit flustered," she observed with a slight smile.
"Uh, I suppose you're right," he said with a nod at her comment about the colors. He blinked when she extended her arm; he knew that linking arms was a thing around Mythica, but... he was very tall, and she was... well, not. "Yeah, it is my first festival," he admitted. And also his first real celebration, ever. He looked up at Coarvis, and she seemed to be occupied. Should he go along with her? "And, er, sure, I'd love to explore." His smile was less hesitant and more genuine
-+EVENT 1: PHASE 1 LOG 1+-The sun was setting when the festival started, and everyone was arriving as the night progressed.
Tents, stalls and lights were set up and strung up all over, and hundreds of people were already milling around in excitement, from all six Races. The smell of sweets and the chorus of voices could be heard well before the newcomers even entered the party. The festival had just started, and already it was a musical and vocal celebration heading strongly into full swing.
Prince Uthriel Andasca could be found near the center of the fairgrounds, chatting up and laughing with his courtesans and random passersby alike. He was having a great deal of fun, and was quick to invite anyone who looked uncomfortable to enjoy some food, drink and dance; there was no reason for anyone to be unhappy or apprehensive tonight.
Daniel Valhen was dressed lightly and looking completely elated to be around so many people, and his Miaron companion Emianthar was trailing behind him with a calm smile. He'd been eag
A Week Of KissesA Week Of Kisses
The first day I told you I loved you,
I imagined kissing your shoulder,
Well before I thought about your lips.
Because I don’t know what I am doing, firstly,
But more importantly,
It’s because I know things can spiral quickly,
If things start shifting
After we lay down the concrete.
So I kiss the foundation,
Before we reach the soil.
The second day I told you I loved you,
I imagined kissing your elbow,
Because it holds together the touch
And the flex.
To exhibit it,
I must kiss the joint that bends
And combines us together.
The third day I told you I loved you,
I lay my lips to your temples,
As I learned about the temple of reform,
For the Youth in North America.
Kissing you there signifying I will protect you,
As well as your temple,
As we re-form, into something more.
The fourth day I told you I loved you,
I’d kiss you softly on your forehead.
Because that’s what holds your brillian
