Well, hello my lovely watchers, long time no journal. ^-^ Despite popular belief, there is an explaination for my lack of activity. One word; school. No, wait, it's mltiple words, including but not limited to, Marching Band, AP World History, two advanced Math classes (Geometry and Algebra II), English, Science, a fucked-up Trimester schedule, computer deaths, lack of inspiration, NaNoWriMo, a massive week-and-a-half Yu-Gi-Oh fanspin (still dizzy from that one!), a style change, sleeping in and, last but not least, the Shadow Battle.
The good side to all this down-time is that a great deak of it is over. Marching Band finals were last Saturday (our band didn't make it but we still went and watched), Finals Week for the end of the first Trimester has passed, my computer is working smoothly, I'm finally getting enough sleep, and my Yu-Gi-Oh spin has reduced itself to a light buzz in the back of my head. (If all of the J&D fans had a spin that massive the fandom would be ON FIRE. I'm fucking serious.) However, I still have double Math and AP World History (that means massive homework load) and the new round of The Shadow Battle just started, and I made it there. But don't worry - Kraz to the FACE and my NaNoWriMo project will be up sometime soon. Plus, starting in December, I'll be taking requests, so if you want a fancomic, or a pic of your OC, or just a fav charrie, I'll be open. BUT NOT UNTIL DECEMBER. I'M WAAAY TOO BOGGED DOWN RIGHT NOW.

In other news, Halloween was fun. ^-^ I went with my brother (Indiana Jones) and one of my best friends (generic victorian-era vampire) as Vincent Valentine. It was amazing. My brother had been sick (he still is, poor baby!) so we weren't trick-or-treating for very long, but afterwards we visited the county's Haunted House.
But this wasn't just ANY haunted house - it was at the old abandoned Middle School that's been empty for about six years now that's haunted ANYWAY (students and teachers HAVE died in there, according to legend) and it had tons of students running it. (As you all know, some of the sickest and most sadistic members of the community are middle and high school students.) The waiting line took an hour and a half, but the line went through the school's auditorium and they were playing Silent Hill in the projector. (Why can't the other schools have nice audotoriums like that?!?) And since that was the first and hopefully only time I'm ever going to see Silent Hill, it kinda psyched me out for the rest of the haunted house. And since I am a total and complete weenie when it comes to stuff like this - I don't watch R-rated movies or ANYTHING (even Corpse Bride scared me)- I spent the ENTIRE TRIP through the Haunted House clinging either to my friend's arm or to my brother's jacket, whichever was closer. And I'm still not done thanking them for that. I was about to cry, I'm fucking serious, and I was the oldest one there. Fog machines, strobe lights, silent guys and gals in creepy-ass masks, costumes and wigs, rooms with a special "theme" that emulated certain R-rated movies that I'm not about to go sample - the Silent Hill room was first, go figure -, plus people screaming, a really nutty maze right in the middle of it all with people jumping out at you, a Clown Room, and other stuff that was so gruesome you didn't want to find out if it was a guy in a mask or not. Best. Haunted House. Fucking. EVER. (But next year I'm dragging Soulfromtheabyss with me, no matter how childish he thinks it is!) My brother and my friend had fun, though, and I'm glad for them.
To end out halloween extravaganza (I love listening to English people say "extravaganza" XD we Americans are shallow, no?) my brother and I stayed over at the aforementioned friend's house. He showed me how to play Dark Messiah. I helped him discover that you can kill people with barrels on Dark Messiah. And the day ended when we left, and my brother left his halloween candy and both inhalers at the friend's house.

And as all of you Jaktards out there know, The Lost Frontier came out last Wednesday. I probably won't be able to ge it until Christmas, due to "funding issues", but on the bright side I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas, too! And fyi, the Ratchet and Clank Future series is at the tippy-top of my list, followed by inFamous. I also want Birth by Sleep, whenever that's supposed to come out. -_-
And, last but not least, I got a shiny new Intuos for my birthday(hence the digital art), plus volumes 2 through 9 of Psychic Academy (a manga), the first two volumes of an amazingly amazing vampire manga called Rebirth, and a few other mangas I can't recall right now. Also, I've been working on a website owned by the trio who braved the Haunted House (my brother, my friend, and I), which can be found here. I've also been reading a brilliant webcomic called Looking for Group. [link] I love it to death, Cale especially XD But most people like Richard. :3 I RECOMMEND IT TO ALL OF YOU!!!
